Description :Balasaraswati also known as Tanjore Balasaraswati, she was a celebrated Indian dancer of Bharatanatyam. Present article is an account of a five-hour photographic session with the celebrated Bharatanatyam dancer, Balasaraswati. In 1961 M. Krishnan had taken a series of dynamic pictures of a vivacious young Bharatanatyam dancer, Balasaraswati saw those photographs and called M. Krishnan. Present article is based on her tour of Japan and Photographes taken by M. Krishnan. Articles also includes some dynamic photographes of Balasaraswati.
