Description :Dance is the 'Objective presentation' of the 'Subjective Reality'; it is the outward expression of an inner emotion or a compulsion; the giving of a concrete form to the human ideas and ideals through movement. The unique quality of Indian dance is that every minute detail of gesture and movement has been analyzed and projected in such a manner. The present paper is discussed about the significance of dance because it is the best way to present the culture and rituals of India or any other country. In India there are various dance forms are available, but this paper focused on the Bharata Natyam which is one such form of dance that has stood the test of time and has evolved into one of the most highly developed and balanced forms of dance in the world.
