Description :Karnataka is known for its rich cultural heritage and folk traditions. String, rod, and leather puppets have all been equally popular among the people. The Karnataka puppetry of the present day owes its existence to a temple-based puppet theatre which has flourished there for centuries. The present paper is the discussion of the Puppet structure and materials which is used in the puppet show performed in the state of Karnataka.
