Description :The present paper is discussed about the existence of Gujarati drama and theatre in the modern world by comparing it in olden times and tries to motivate the people for its development and find its proper place in our educational system to chasten our taste and chisel our wits. The new theatre should be open forum representing all thoughts and shades so that the society can widen its vision and be more tolerant.
