Description :A large intricately carved sand stone Chhatari with number of small Chhataries aquired from Jaisalmer, Rajasthan and installed in Desert Village open air exhibition by the artisan of respective area. The traditional of memorial structure is common amongst most of the tribal, folk and several other communities of India. Iin western India particularly in Rajasthan it can be seen in form of Chhataries ever since from historic period. Architecturally the patterns and style may very from one place to another as also one dynasty than other. This particular structure is a representation of Parmar style of architecture.
