Description :Trench: DX- 2, Stratum: Layer 3
This is a coin mould made of terracotta. Surface is rough and colour is brick brown. Round in shape. The depression in the negative depicts Kartikaya God holding a spear in one hand and the other hand is placed on waist. The "vahana" shown below depicts a peacock. Beautiful inscription adorned the figure. The coin moulds was used to cast coins for currency purpose.
