Coin mould

  • Description :Trench: DX - 2, Stratum: Pit 1 Sealed by Layer 2
    The mould is made of baked clay. They have brick red colour and rough edges. The negative depicts a standing deity holding a spear in one hand and other placed on the waist. Some inscriptions are also visible. An animal can be seen near feet of the deity. It also carries inscriptions. The mould was certainly used for casting coins.
