Description :Collected from the Chitrakut village in Bastar district of Chhattisgarh, this wooden tool is exhibited to show the technology of crushing sugarcane to collect juice.
It consists of two upright cylindrical form of wooden wheel toothed structure mounted upon the horizontal framework that serve as gear to maintain uniform motion in crushing the sugarcane. It is moved through a long wooden shaft used as a rotor with the help of animal power.
