Description :A round shaped gha’u cast in gold and silver is one of the most prized possessions of the State Museum, Government of Sikkim. This work of art is a brilliant example of metal casting and every motif that has been exhibited here is accomplished beautifully. Dainty flowers and creepers are moulded with a sense of perfection and they are crowded in a good composition. Ten pieces of gold symbols are embedded within, among which three are missing; the rim of the central hold is closed by golden ring with a floral motif.
The outer beat is also encircled with dental and geometrical motifs. This gha’u is enveloped with cloth and leather.
