Description :The muria are unique for thier ghotul ( youth dormitory) institution which segregates them from the rest of the tribal population of Bastar. The ghotul has its codified laws in aesthetic sense; it teaches them traditional culture and also fulfils the pre- nuptial sexual gratification within the four walls of their most disciplined organization. Through the codified laws of the Ghotul the muria maintains their age old culture and protect girls from seduction by outsiders.
