Description :A small antiquary fashioned out of hollow animal horn and embellished with silver sheath both at the top and bottom. This conical shape object is called snaro / snatha/thun-rowhich is a snuff-box.
The tobacco used in this box is called philling which is a powdered thing for sniffing snaro / snatha was very popular among the elderly folks, and they used to keep them fastened by their waist.
The tradition of using snaro is out of fashion today. Thun-ro is specially used by the high lamas to store consecrated mustard seeds to use during ceremonies.
