Description :Tsha-tshai or Tsha-tshai par is a cone shaped copper object usually a block for making miniature votive stupa of mud. The carved interior of this object has four folds or round flights of steps similar to the Chinese pagoda. Mud is filled inside the frame and pressed for impression and taken out slowly. The impressed mud object is painted after drying and placed inside the caves or at the outermost monastery door frame or architrave or even inside the chosham as an oblation to the deity.
