Kutiyattam is a form of Sanskrit theatre traditionally performed in the state of Kerala. Kudiyattam shows actual practice of the classical Indian theatre. Traditionally, Kudiyattam has been performed by Chakyars (a subcaste of Kerala Hindus) and by Nangyaramma (women of the Ambalavasi Nambiar caste).
