Description :In the technological age the closeness of creative mind and new environment given the birth of new materials, new techniques, new patterns. New movements and new expressions in all fields. The present paper is shedding some light on the creative aspect of music in the modern era, or era of technology and gives a thought of certain things that have been termed 'modern' in North Indian classical vocal music, especially for khyal singing and briefly elaborate on why they have entered into classical music and what influence they have exerted.
