Chaubisi of Sitalanatha
This altarpiece, probably from a home shrine is known as Chaturvimshati-patta or Chaubisi because it has twenty-four tirthankara figures in a single plaque. This particular plaque is attributed to Sitalanatha, one of the tirthankaras of Jainism who sits in the centre. This is corroborated by an inscription at the back of the base of the mulanayaka (main deity in Jain temples) which reads 'Sri Sitalanatha.'
