Description :The shakti, Vaishnavi is seated with four hands with usual emblems that of Vishnu i.e. Sanka, chakra etc. She wears kireetam, necklace, bangles etc. She mounts on garuda, the vehicle of her god. The sculpture is marred entirely and appears with no details because this granite image must have collected from a place located near to the sea-shore, where salt solvents in the air effected on the sculpture. Vaishanvi devi is one of the saptha matrikas generally appears in fragment of matrikas. Sometimes independent sculpture of Devi also seen in around temples and in sanctum sanctorum. She controls over labha.
