Description :The Geographical Position of Indian Sub-continent has made it extremely vulnerable towards the onslaught of Global Warming. A vast river basin of Gangetic plain is embraced by the Himalayas. Himalayan presence makes climate congenial, provides enough water, fertile soil. But human greed has resulted in natural disaster and calamities. Due to global warming; snow has start drying up and its adverse effect on the Himalayan temperate forest has started appearing. This article discusses the causes and solutions to global warming; in the Indian Sub-continent Himalayan region.
